Description:

Alamina Beach House is located on the beachfront in the village of Caye Caulker, just north of the police station. The apartments are on the second floor over Caribbean Colors Art Gallery, Lighthouse Ice Cream Parlor and Sports Bar and Restaurant. The building spans from the beach to the street. Alamina Beach House was built originally in 1975 by Norman Alamina, a boat builder and lifelong resident of Caye Caulker. It is one of a few original clapboard island homes that remain on Caye Caulker's beachfront, having survived Hurricanes Mitch and Keith. Sorry, no children under the age of 10.
