Weather in Belize
There is a misconception that the dry season is from October through May and rainy season June through September; however, this is incorrect. We have four seasons wet, dry, wet, dry but not of equal length. The major dry season is from February through May. The rainy season brings frequent squalls from June into August. Then there is a short dry season called the mauger season that lasts two to six weeks. The rains from September through January are from two sources tropical depressions and cold fronts.
